3 down, time to catch up!

Ok, catch up time.
Had the date Sunday with Terps VJ. He called around 5 to see if I actually wanted to grab dinner prior, so we met at 6 and prebought our movie tickets for the 8 show, which he paid for. Then we went to dinner and it was nice, good conversation, he was super polite. He paid once again. So went to movie (Step Brothers, really funny, def go!) When it got out around 10 he asked if I wanted to hang out some more, so I suggested grabbing ice cream and talking. Once again, he paid! (i could get used to this dating business, haha) SO we hung out for about an hour in which he asked my plans for the next day and if i'd want to hang out. I agreed, good or bad who knows, but I dont play by rules. H walked me to my car and I dropped him off at his where he gave me a kiss on the cheek.

Cut to Monday, he picked me up at work around 5:30, we decided just to go to my place and watch the office since he'd never seen it. So we watched a couple episodes, and ended up kissing a bit. Not bad... but no real sparks either. Not that I will write him off but I want to feel something ya know? Though a good friend of mine says there weren't sparks with her and her husband at first either, so to hang in there and give it at least a good effort.

Tuesday, today, I had dinner with Chicago. We met up at 8:30, he beat me there and grabbed a table. He ended up paying, though I went into it expecting to go dutch, but okay by me! After dinner we walked around a bit and then sat on a bench and talked for a while. Really nice guy, super outgoing and funny, though a little too much. If he just turned it down a notch or so it'd be perfect. It's funny how the age differences show themselves once you start talking to people though, its obvious he has 6 years on Terp. Which can go either way depending on the subject.

Pretty sure Chicago and I will hang out again when he is back in town, think it might just turn into a good friendship, but am ok with that. Who knows though!

Still been talking to Amaretto on the phone a lot, but no plans thus far. Of everyone he is the one I'm most drawn to, but until we meet who knows!

oh and ps- according to the guy outside of grand central I am his future ex wife. Hope he can find me on match! haha

Bartender

So this is a story thats been writing itself for a while, but feeling the need to share. I started hooking up with this guy back in march or so. He is a bartender, about 40 yrs old, fine ass body, best of anyone i've every been with, you should feel his ass! lol Nothing serious, he'd come over after he got off work, stay around for 2-3 hours and then leave.

Anywho, he came over last nite, we uh, had a picnic, and then were talking. And suddenly he says, oh yeah, I'm married now. !?!? WTF. Seriously. I kind of feel like I should have know, I never asked if he had a gf/fiance, purposefully, b/c i just didn't want to know. Yes, I know he is the dirtbag, since he knew he was with someone. But i had a sneaking suspicion and chose to ignore it.

Shame really, because WOW. :-) Oh well, on to better, more concrete things!

roller coaster of match

So I've decided this whole match thing is such a roller coaster! I totally expected to have all these dates lined up, men falling over themselves to get to me (haha ok not quite) but its not quite like that. I'd been disappointed in my findings thus far but hopefully things are turning around.

Since its been a while ( i promise to do better!!) I have a lot of catching up to do. First, that date with GTI never happened. He cancelled claiming a stomach ache, but hasn't rescheduled. Oh well, the more I talk to him the more his age comes through.

Chicago and I set up a date for last Tues but he had to reschedule due to too much workload, so
we are on for this coming Tues.

Runner guy (whatever I nicknamed him earlier!) emailed Thurs asking about doing something this weekend but haven't heard from him again.

Shark is a guy I've been emailing a bit, he seems nice though busy as he owns his own business. Just saw he emailed giving me his # and suggestion of hanging out soon.

Terps VJ- new guy that messaged me Thurs i think? we are going to a movie tomorrow (Sunday) Seems nice, still in college though. Im considering this more of a test run for other dates but nothing wrong with that. You never know, I could be pleasantly surprised.

and one more new guy who i started talking w/ Thurs, we'll call him Amaretto, we've exchanged #s and already had a couple convos running 1.5 hrs or so. Def clicking with him, he is pretty easy going/funny. Haven't set anything up yet but hopefully soon!

First Match Date...

So I have my first date lined up for Wednesday. and I realize its with a guy I didn't even mention in the previous post! I don't really know what to nickname him, GTI will suffice for now b/c he was in the army before (and its part of his username) Anywho, he is a really sweet guy, we've talked on the phone a few times now since Sunday. I think we are going for sushi in Towson. He is only 23, but comes across more mature, he seems to know what he wants out of life.

In other news, after I wrote my last post I heard back from Chicago, and we've emailed back and forth a couple times. He is in Seattle this week for work, but we have plans to get together next week when he is back in Baltimore.

The other couple guys have kind of drifted off, but then again I was on vacation and trying to get back in the swing of things. so we shall see! Keep your fingers crossed for me.
