So my girl over at charm city courting is keeping things updated, so I deserve to do the same. :-) So here it is.
Black Socks Montana emailed and said he didnt feel a connection, and good luck to me. Not to be mean, but I'm not the one who needs luck... ;-)
I emailed Boat guy last weds, so 4 days after the date, giving him a website i'd mentioned on the date. He wrote back that night, but didn't mention getting together again. So thats a bummer but such is.
Amaretto and I had our second date. Was supposed to be Weds but we rescheduled to Friday. He came over after work and we went and grabbed dinner. Conversation was more relaxed this time, but still not cracking up. After we ate came back to my place and watched a movie. ...Which means we ended up making out for a while. :-) At first he was using too much tongue, but I guided him and then things were better. Sexual chemistry is there, just not sure if I like him as a boyfriend. and that is kind of the point of match, to find someone i click with on a deeper level. He text sun and asked when we would hang out again and made plans for Thursday. Weird thing is I haven't heard from him since minus one text, which is only odd because since the beginning he has text or called every day. So maybe he has found another girly? Which if he has makes my decision easier!!
Tonite had a date w/ Shark, who I mentioned way back when. Met up for dinner. Conversation was fine, but no sparks whatsoever. Split the check, got a half hug at the car and said he'd call but doubt he does, and thats ok by me.
Chicago is back in town, he emailed to say hello and ask what i've been up to but no mention of plans as of yet. Thats ok b/c I think he and I will just end up friends which works.
So that my friends, is where we stand! No other guys in the wings, so if Amaretto falls through we are back to square one, plus an arsenal of new dating stories. :-)

Am I in a movie??
Sometimes I feel like I am living in a movie. Or if I'm not it should BE a movie. LOL. Seriously, how can I make some $$ off of the crazy things that happen to me?
Let's start with tonite. I met up with montana. (CC, cue cowboy jokes) First, he got lost coming into the city, so he was 25 min late meeting me. We went to Brewers Art, I thought it'd be his kind of place, since hes really into music, outdoors etc. And maybe it was... but oh my, Dude showed up wearing black button down short sleeve, camoflauge shorts, black socks and brown sandals. REALLY. Ok, not sure who all knows, but my biggest turnoff is black socks. and when paired with everything else he had on.... WOW. He was nice... but no way this will never happen kind of way. I almost started laughing halfway through thinking about having to talk about the date the next day. Which is a sad sad thing...
That was date 6 out of 10 days BTW, is Hollywood on line 3?? I feel like someone should be writing the script as I type...
OK, so backtracking now. I'd totally been gung ho about Amaretto, he seemed like a really cool guy, cute, funny. Well the date, not what I expected. I didn't laugh. Which is a HUGE priority, I need someone thats going to crack me up, even if I am laughing at them most of the time! Hopefully it was just nerves. Anywho, we grabbed lunch and then went hiking. While doing that it looked like a storm was rolling in, which did and we just missed it. Its funny, b/c I realized I would want someone to grab me and jump in puddles and not care about getting wet, and he was totally freaking out that we might. He has called since, and we are supposed to get together again Weds, so we'll see. I can see him growing on me, as long as the laughter comes into play.
2nd date of Saturday (yes, i had 2 dates in 1 day!! im such a dating hooker) This date was great. I had mentioned him way back when, we shall call him boat guy, as he has aboat. We were going to go out on it but weather was iffy so we met for drinks. Everything just clicked. Conversation flowed, I laughed, he laughed, no awkward moments... Seriously I will be extremely upset if this goes no farther. Totally digging this one. Hopefully I hear from him again, he said we should do it again... good sign right??
Anywho, I think that brings things up to speed. Its been an adventure, adding to my collection of stories if nothing else. :-)
